Location: Porto Alegre – RS Job Type: On-site **Full-time** **Job Description** A high-end restaurant seeks a **Kitchen Assistant – Seafood** to assist in kitchen production preparation and organization, directly supporting the handling and preparation of fish and seafood. The professional will be responsible for maintaining the establishment’s quality standards, ensuring organization, efficiency, and excellence throughout all processes. **Responsibilities** * Assist in cleaning, preparing, and portioning fish, shrimp, squid, mussels, and other seafood. * Perform basic preparations according to the chef’s instructions and the restaurant’s technical sheets. * Execute daily mise en place for production. * Assist in proper storage and shelf-life control of ingredients. * Ensure organization, cleanliness, and good practices in the production area throughout the shift. * Support the kitchen team with operational demands and daily production. * Strictly adhere to hygiene, food safety, and restaurant standards. * Assist in receiving and verifying goods when necessary. **Requirements** * Prior experience in kitchens, food production, or food handling. * Organizational skills, efficiency, and attention to detail. * Ability to work well in a team and follow production standards. * Commitment to quality and operational discipline. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with fish and seafood. * Experience working in high-end restaurants. * Knowledge of handling and preserving refrigerated and frozen foods. **Salary** R$ 2.600 to R$ 2.900 per month **Benefits** On-site meal Transportation allowance Opportunity for career growth within the company Job Type: Permanent CLT contract Compensation: R$2.600.00 – R$2.900.00 per month Benefits: * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance Workplace: On-site
