We respect diversity and believe that diverse teams contribute to more innovative ideas. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Help us design the solution!** If you enjoy working with automation, thrive on challenges, appreciate implementing solutions based on best practices, and are open to working within teams that respect who you are and your opinions, you’re VERY close to joining our DB team. ### **Responsibilities** * Ensure quality of POS functionalities, considering business rules, critical flows, and operational impact. * Design **test cases** focused on risks, critical behaviors, and validation of business rules (pre\-conditions, steps, expected results or Gherkin). * Execute **risk\-oriented manual and exploratory tests**, documenting hypotheses, evidence, and outcomes. * Prioritize test scenarios based on impact to end users and the business. * Log defects clearly, objectively, and reproducibly to facilitate analysis and correction by the development team. * Actively participate in **refinements**, contributing to clear, testable, and business\-aligned acceptance criteria. * Constructively question ambiguous or incomplete requirements. * Anticipate risks through analysis of alternative scenarios, exceptions, and error flows. * Adopt a **proactive approach**, aiming to prevent defects before implementation. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements to apply for this position:** * Availability for **100% on\-site work** in Porto Alegre. * Experience with **manual testing**, focused on business rules and critical scenarios. * Knowledge of **Java and Selenium** for automated test execution. * Ability to **design and execute test cases** (Gherkin). * Experience with **risk\-oriented exploratory testing**. * Experience in **clear and reproducible defect logging and tracking**. * Active participation in **refinements**, contributing to clear and testable acceptance criteria. * Knowledge of **REST API testing**. * **SQL knowledge** for data validation and support in defect analysis. * Experience with **test automation as a quality enabler**, primarily using Selenium. **Additional Information** From the garage at home to the world: this is how DB’s story began.
