On the third day of MIAC — The Time of Bodies, at the Event Hall of Instituto Ling, we embarked on a creative and sensitive journey through valleys and forests, cities and communities, schools, art centers, and sacred territories. Artistic encounters, Dynamic Biocanto, and Sound Ecology come together under the guidance of Marisa Fonterrada and Raphael Arcanjo, in a rich conversation based on experiences with soundscapes created by musician Thiago Ramil. Voice and listening are the primary instruments connecting people, cultures, and rhythms, in an encounter with soundscapes and vocal and bodily expressions. In this moment, we experience integrative practices between body, nature, and music—expressions of care and connection with life. Dynamic Biocanto presents the voice as a pulsating organism, linked to the rhythm of the stars, the elements, and the human heart. Meanwhile, Acoustic Ecology invites expanded listening, perceiving sound as a bridge between being and environment. Together, these approaches create experiences in which silence sings, noise reveals, and presence becomes landscape.
