Installation and configuration of devices to extend and stabilize the network **Description:** ---------------- The External Technical Support role is responsible for performing on-site maintenance at customer locations to resolve internet network issues and ensure delivery of high-quality services to customers. This position involves analyzing Digital Net and customer equipment, identifying potential improvements, and implementing solutions to enhance connection stability and speed for Digital Net customers. Main Responsibilities As an External Technical Support professional, you will be responsible for: * Diagnosing and correcting issues in fiber optic connections, including testing signal power, cleaning connectors, and replacing defective components to ensure signal quality. * Testing and ensuring optimal performance of fiber optic and Wi-Fi networks, verifying speed, stability, and connection integrity. * Replacing and repairing routers and fiber optic equipment as needed, following procedures for identification, installation, and testing. * Installing and configuring devices and repeaters to extend and stabilize the network, providing full coverage and efficient signal distribution. * Configuring customer devices to ensure proper functionality and access to contracted services. * Providing user training on correct device usage to maximize benefits and avoid operational issues. * Removing and installing equipment upon customer request. * Upgrading equipment to newer versions to improve connection quality. * Activating contracted services for corporate customers, providing guidance on functionality and bandwidth capacity. * Maintaining a clean and well-kept vehicle to ensure safe and efficient operation. Compensation Information * Base salary: R$2\.966,00 Benefits: * Meal allowance: R$ 800,00 * Internet plan discount for employees * Health insurance * Life insurance Available working hours: * 12:00 to 21:00\. **Requirements:** ----------------- ✅ Minimum Criteria * Completed high school education; * Driver’s license category B; * Minimum of 6 months in current position; * Minimum performance evaluation score of 8.0, according to the company’s adopted evaluation model; * No unjustified absences during the evaluation period; * Prior experience in internet installation and maintenance services, acquired at external companies. Hard Skills * Advanced knowledge of router configuration; * Intermediate knowledge of computer networks; * Intermediate knowledge of IT equipment; * Intermediate knowledge of network device configuration; * Intermediate knowledge of operating system administration (Windows, Linux, and Unix); * Basic knowledge of IPv6; * Intermediate knowledge of FTTH; * Intermediate knowledge of Mikrotik.
