Job Summary: This position assists in loading and unloading operations, sorting and preparing goods, and organizing the warehouse, ensuring proper handling of cargo. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assists in vehicle loading and unloading operations 2. Prepares cargo for dispatch, including palletizing and labeling 3. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and common areas Assist in vehicle loading and unloading operations as instructed by the Checker or designated personnel. Assist in sorting cargo according to the schedule prepared by the Checker. Assist in arranging cargo during vehicle loading or palletizing during vehicle unloading. Assist in preparing cargo for dispatch (palletizing, labeling, moving, and loading). Pay close attention to instructions from the Checker to ensure cargo is handled correctly and in accordance with work instructions received. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and adjacent areas. Ensure cleanliness of common-use areas (changing rooms, restrooms, washrooms, pantry, etc.). Keep pallets properly stacked and placed in designated areas within the warehouse. Maintain handling equipment, keeping it clean and in good working condition. Assist the Checker in completing the vehicle checklist upon receipt or loading. Assist in recovery of transport packaging and damaged goods when directed by the Shift Supervisor. Assist in delivery or pickup of goods when directed by the Warehouse Supervisor. Support the warehouse team in all activities relevant to the department.
