Do you have solid experience in Engineering, Maintenance Management, and Infrastructure Project Management? Are you proficient in developing and interpreting technical drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software? Do you possess practical knowledge of planning and control tools, including MS Project, Advanced Excel, and maintenance management software (CMMS)? Have you previously applied failure analysis and continuous improvement methodologies such as PDCA, Ishikawa, and 5W2H? Do you have an analytical mindset, strong results orientation, and the ability to manage conflicts and negotiate with suppliers? Then it’s your time to join the Amarante team! **What challenge will you face here?** Your primary challenge will be ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimization of Amarante’s assets and facilities by leading engineering projects, renovations, and infrastructure improvements—with emphasis on quality, safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability. You will act strategically, aligning operational excellence with structural innovation across our developments. **What are the routine responsibilities of the Maintenance and Projects Specialist?** * Manage and execute end-to-end engineering, renovation, and expansion projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and Amarante’s quality standards; * Develop technical scopes, schedules, descriptive specifications, and budgets (CAPEX) for new projects and major maintenance activities; * Monitor construction works and supervise service providers, ensuring compliance with approved designs and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations; * Prepare project status reports for leadership review, identifying risks and proposing action plans; * Follow established practices and procedures to minimize environmental impact—including proper waste management and responsible use of natural resources; * Identify situations potentially causing negative environmental impacts and report them to the environmental team; * Participate in training related to sustainability and environmental practices; * Follow guidelines for correct waste disposal, reuse, and recycling; * Comply with and report actions required during environmental emergencies. **What do we offer the Maintenance and Projects Specialist?** In addition to competitive compensation, you’ll find a relaxed work environment, a diverse team, outstanding results, and numerous opportunities to learn and grow.
