We are seeking a talent to fill the position of Junior Distribution Engineer. **Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?** **Responsibilities and duties** **Activities to be performed:** * Conduct field inspections, analyze operational reports, and support technical teams to monitor electricity distribution network construction projects—ensuring compliance with design specifications, technical standards, quality benchmarks, and safety requirements. * Support planning for preventive and corrective maintenance activities of the electrical system by collecting and analyzing operational data, updating corporate systems, and interfacing with field teams—contributing to continuity, reliability, and efficiency of power supply. * Perform technical field surveys—including site inspections, measurements, photographic documentation, and collection of operational information—to support project development, interventions, and improvements to the distribution network. * Assist in analyzing electrical system failures, incidents, and outages by consolidating data, monitoring operational indicators, and supporting technical analysis—to help identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. * Monitor and control service order execution using corporate systems and direct coordination with operational teams and partner companies—ensuring adherence to deadlines, delivery quality, and established standards. * Support preparation of technical, operational, and managerial reports by organizing, consolidating, and analyzing field data—to provide decision-making support and performance tracking. * Verify compliance of materials, equipment, and services used in construction and maintenance works through technical inspections and specification verification—ensuring quality, standardization, and reliability of electrical network assets. * Participate in interface with suppliers and service providers—monitoring field activities, validating deliverables, and ensuring contractual compliance—to guarantee adherence to technical, operational, and safety requirements. * Support updating and maintaining the electrical network’s technical registry using georeferenced systems and corporate databases—ensuring data integrity, traceability, and asset information reliability. * Comply with and support implementation of occupational health and safety, environmental, and operational procedures—through field activity monitoring and team guidance—to mitigate operational risks and promote a safe, sustainable workplace. **Requirements and qualifications** **Education level:** Completed Bachelor’s Degree **Required field of study:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related exact sciences disciplines. **Desirable courses and specializations:** Postgraduate studies or specialization in Project Management, Power Systems, Energy Distribution, Construction, Maintenance, or related areas. **Technical competencies:** * Experience executing, monitoring, and/or supervising construction and maintenance works on electricity distribution networks—including field activities and interface with technical and operational teams—to ensure compliance with designs, technical standards, and operational procedures; * Experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance and expansion services for electrical networks—through defining timelines, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources—to ensure operational efficiency and deadline adherence; * Experience analyzing electrical system failures, incidents, and performance—using operational indicators, technical reports, and analytical tools—to identify root causes, propose corrective actions, and implement continuous improvements; * Experience managing and monitoring service provider contracts—including measurement control, productivity tracking, delivery quality assurance, and contractual deadline compliance—to ensure technical and operational conformity and cost optimization; * Knowledge of electricity distribution systems—including medium- and low-voltage network operation, maintenance, and expansion—to provide appropriate technical support for field interventions and activities; * Knowledge of electrical sector technical and regulatory standards—including utility company standards, quality and safety requirements, and applicable regulations—to ensure legal and operational compliance; * Knowledge of electrical project development, interpretation, and analysis—including single-line diagram reading and use of engineering technical tools—to support technical validations and decision-making;
