We are looking for a talent to fill the position of Field Distribution Technician II. **Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Activities to be performed:** * Execute and oversee, on-site, construction, maintenance, and expansion activities on the electrical system—working directly on networks, lines, and substations—ensuring technical compliance, safety, and delivery quality. * Supervise services executed by partner companies through technical inspections, measurements, and documentation, ensuring adherence to approved projects and current internal standards. * Conduct detailed technical inspections on distribution networks, transmission lines, and substations via systematic surveys, identifying anomalies and proposing corrective actions. * Perform maintenance, inspection, and emergency response services on the electrical system according to operational procedures and directives from the Operations Center, ensuring safe and prompt restoration of supply. * Ensure correct application of operational procedures for interventions on the power electrical system, strictly following authorizations and operational sequences to safeguard operational integrity. * Execute and validate, on-site, the physical registration and asset inventory of installed assets through measurements, verifications, and entries into corporate systems, ensuring data reliability. * Monitor material and service usage in construction and maintenance activities through verification of resources employed, ensuring alignment with planning and established technical standards. * Address customer requests requiring on-site technical interventions by conducting surveys and executing corrective actions, ensuring appropriate resolution of requests. * Technically supervise and guide internal and outsourced teams during service execution through operational guidance and activity verification, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. * Perform operational activities compatible with full-level responsibilities, per the company’s duties matrix, contributing to field operation efficiency and reliability. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education Level:** Technical **Required Qualification:** Technical course in Electrotechnology, Electricity, Electrical Systems, or related fields aligned with energy distribution. **Courses and Specializations:** A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields is desirable. **Technical Competencies:** * Experience executing and supervising on-site construction and maintenance services covering distribution networks, transmission lines, and substations. * Operational experience within the electrical system, including inspections, interventions, scheduled maintenance, and emergency response. * Experience applying safety and intervention procedures on the power electrical system, including work on energized installations or those subject to energization. * Experience providing technical supervision to internal and outsourced teams on-site, ensuring compliance with projects, technical standards, and operational procedures. * Knowledge of operation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical distribution, transmission, and substation systems. * Proficiency in standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and Operations Center guidelines applicable to field interventions. * Ability to read and interpret electrical project drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications for on-site execution. * Knowledge of measurement, physical registration, and asset inventory techniques for electrical system assets, ensuring accurate updates to corporate systems. **Additional Information** **Why apply:** By joining Grupo Equatorial, you become part of a growing company whose culture values continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
