**Job Description:** We are looking for a Senior Oracle DBA with solid experience in **supporting and managing Oracle environments**, to strategically maintain and enhance the performance of our databases. The professional will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of Oracle database systems, as well as resolving incidents, performing performance tuning, backups, and monitoring routines. **Responsibilities:** * Manage and support Oracle environments, ensuring optimal availability and performance for critical systems. * Monitor and optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks. * Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity. * Analyze database logs and perform tuning on indexes, queries, and structures to improve performance. * Collaborate closely with infrastructure and development teams to identify and resolve integration issues. * Provide support during migrations, upgrades, and Oracle version maintenance. * Propose and implement improvements in database administration processes. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of databases, ensuring high availability and resilience. * Create and maintain technical documentation regarding database infrastructure. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, focused on **supporting critical environments**. * In-depth knowledge of **Oracle 12c, 18c, and 19c**, including administration, tuning, and backup. * Experience with monitoring and performance tools (OEM, Oracle Enterprise Manager, etc.). * Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting for task automation and performance analysis. * Experience in **RAC administration** and **Data Guard**. * Knowledge of **backup and recovery** using tools such as RMAN. * Experience in **version migration** and database upgrades. * Solid understanding of **high availability**, security, and disaster recovery. * Ability to work independently and within teams, with strong communication skills and results orientation. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. **Preferred Qualifications:** * **Experience with Oracle GoldenGate** will be a significant advantage. * Oracle certifications (OCP, OCM). * Knowledge of **Oracle Exadata** and/or **Oracle Cloud**. * Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery environments. * Knowledge of **shell scripting** and automation tools. **We Offer:** * Competitive compensation. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A collaborative and dynamic work environment.
