Teamwork and focus on operational safety. **Control Room Operator** **Summary:** Operate and monitor industrial processes at the mineral processing plant using supervisory systems and control panels. **Responsibilities:** * Monitor production processes via the supervisory control panel, tracking process variables * Perform operational start-ups and shutdowns of equipment * Identify and respond to alarms and operational deviations, analyzing system events and communicating with field teams * Adjust process parameters according to technical instructions and actual process conditions * Record shift data and incidents, updating operational reports and control systems * Facilitate communication between control room operations and field teams, coordinating with area operators and conveying priorities * Monitor performance of critical equipment, checking for failure trends, abnormal variations, and energy consumption * Support maintenance activities and scheduled interventions by implementing operational lockouts, equipment releases, and alignment with PCM and supervision * Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations, following operational procedures, promoting safe behaviors, and reporting deviations **Education:** * Completed High School **Experience:** * Prior experience in industrial plant operation, mining, or control room operations is preferred. **Technical Competencies:** * Panel-based operation * Interpretation of process variables and alarms * Equipment start-up/shutdown routines * Reading of flow diagrams and operational procedures * Recording and traceability of operational information * Basic understanding of process quality and production control **Behavioral Competencies:** * Sustained attention * Critical thinking * Operational discipline * Clear and concise communication Teamwork and cooperation Join our team: visit our job page Grupo Sollo and apply!
