Position Description Responsible for environmental management at the facility, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, internal standards, and sustainability best practices, while supporting impact control, waste management, and environmental programs. Responsibilities * Monitor and track the facility’s environmental indicators and programs. * Assist in the control and disposal of waste (Classes I and II), effluents, atmospheric emissions, noise, odors, and other environmental controls related to facility operations. * Support environmental education initiatives, internal campaigns, and training programs. * Conduct inspections, patrols, and audits to verify compliance. * Complete, organize, and maintain up-to-date environmental reports, spreadsheets, and environmental management and control software. * Support the approval of environmental projects and descriptive reports for new company projects, providing guidance and support for environmental licensing. * Support and manage environmental licensing processes (Preliminary License, Installation License, Operation License, Revised Operation License, Water Withdrawal Permits, CC\-SEMA, and other licenses applicable to the facility). * Support internal and external audits and action plans. * Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal company requirements (laws and regulations at municipal, state, and federal levels, as well as internal policies and procedures, etc.). * Support interactions with environmental agencies when required. * Comply with laws, internal procedures, and COFCO’s ethical standards; * Work in accordance with technical standards and procedures for quality, safety, hygiene, health, and environmental protection. Requirements Completed Technical Education in Environmental Studies. A degree in progress (e.g., Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering) is desirable. Experience in industrial environments or grain storage facilities. Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation and licensing processes. COFCO International is an equal opportunity employer.
