If this describes you and if you share our passion for energy, we would be delighted to meet you! **Responsibilities and duties** **Job Mission:** * Provide maintenance services at facilities, meeting internal requirements and processes with maximum quality and safety. **Maintenance Technician II Responsibilities:** * Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance at Power Plants and Substations, conducting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and multi-year inspections, following internal procedures, identifying deviations, suggesting necessary actions for compliance, and keeping the Maintenance Management System updated to fulfill the maintenance plan and ensure maximum reliability and availability of assets; * Monitor commissioning and reception activities of new equipment at Power Plants and substations, aiming to obtain approval for operational startup; * Record defects/anomalies identified during inspections at facilities in the maintenance management software, in order to keep corrective maintenance planning up to date; * Ensure proper use and preservation of tools and maintenance instruments at facilities, aiming to maintain safety and company assets; * Respond to emergencies. Receive materials and equipment, verifying against invoices, controlling, organizing, cleaning, and maintaining spare parts in good condition, complying with established procedures, suggesting improvements in storage conditions, aiming to keep inventory in optimal condition for use, performing special inspections at facilities, locating and identifying causes of automatic shutdowns, in order to restore equipment as quickly as possible; * Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations and fleet policies, ensuring safety and protecting COTESA’s and the Client’s assets and image; * Comply with legal regulations and internal procedures, correctly using and maintaining PPE and safety systems, proactively identifying risk situations during activities, proposing control measures to immediate supervisors, in order to safeguard health and safety; * Contribute to the preparation of monthly and technical reports, following engineering-established standards, submitting them to supervisor review to meet contractual deadlines and legal requirements; * Provide technical information resulting from equipment and system failures and performance, reporting specific details, to support analysis by Engineering specialists; * Recognize operational events during working hours or when notified by Operations (such as automatic shutdowns, systemic oscillations, high-severity alarms, among others), taking local actions requested by Operations, in order to ensure maximum asset availability; * Perform local operation at remotely controlled facilities in case of loss of remote operation, following network procedures, operational routines, and local operation instructions, aiming to ensure maximum asset availability; * Contribute to the preservation of civil facilities, ensuring adequate infrastructure conditions for proper activity development; * Foster good relationships between accessing and accessed parties, aiming to comply with operational agreements and facility sharing arrangements, in order to maintain maximum cooperation between parties; * Maintain a positive relationship with the client’s local team, aligning service demands arising from their requests with internal demands; * Comply with environmental requirements, guiding other team members, in order to meet current legislation and environmental programs derived from project licensing; * Participate in executing Contingency Plans and/or Emergency Response Plans and/or Dam Safety Plans, following internal procedures, identifying deviations and implementing necessary actions for compliance, assessing required resources, in order to ensure operational functionality and safety of personnel and facilities; * Provide support and perform other related and inherent professional activities as directed and/or requested by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, Electronics, or related fields; * Driver's license Category B; * Active registration with the professional council; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; * Experience in PCH or UHE maintenance; **Desirable:** * Knowledge of EquipMaint Maintenance Management Software. **Additional information** * **Benefits:** Meal allowance; Life insurance; Health plan; Dental plan; Education assistance; Discount partnerships (Ipog, Unisul, Clínica Buriti, FGV Executive Education, Estácio, CNA Idiomas, CESUSC, Funiber, Shalom Adonai); TotalPass; Onhappy; Newborn care basket; Christmas allowance. * Work location: Garganta da Jararaca PCH; * Residence location: Campo Novo do Parecis/MT; * Work shifts will be required. **We specialize in Operation \& Maintenance of electrical Generation and Transmission assets**, with emphasis on live-line maintenance.
