Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java/Python developer to develop and maintain systems, participate in technical discussions, ensure code quality, and support junior developers. Great Place to Work certified company with continuous growth **What We Are Looking For?** **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain medium-to-large-scale Java systems. * Participate in technical discussions with the team. * Ensure code quality through testing and best practices. * Support junior developers. * Contribute to the evolution of team best practices. **Requirements:** * **Experience with Java**, typically with recent language versions (Java 8\+). * **Experience with Python**, typically with recent language versions (Python 3\+). * Strong understanding of **OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)** and principles such as SOLID. * Familiarity with **frameworks**: * Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security). * Hibernate / JPA for data persistence. * Knowledge of **relational databases** (MySQL) and SQL usage. * Knowledge of **document databases** (MongoDB). * Experience with **code versioning (Git)**. * Understanding of **RESTful APIs**, and ability to develop and consume web services. * Awareness of system architecture (Microservices and Event-Driven), application layers, and design patterns. **Work Location:** Hybrid model, with 2 days per week onsite in Campos Elíseos, São Paulo/SP. **Why Build Your Career at Meta?** We offer autonomy, clear goals, and a dynamic and challenging environment where professionals have opportunities to engage with diverse technologies, participate in all types of projects, bring new ideas, and work from anywhere in Brazil—and why not, the world.
