We are seeking a talented **Backend Developer/Engineer** to join our Software Engineering team as part of the **Innovation and Emerging Technologies project.** Our team specializes in delivering cutting-edge technological solutions to enhance business processes and drive efficiency. **Responsibilities:** As a Backend Developer/Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring backend systems and integrations to meet business process and application requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and drive key technical decisions. Your role will include: * Designing and developing backend systems aligned with business objectives. * Implementing system integrations with various services and APIs. * Applying expertise in **Large Language Models (LLMs)** and rapid engineering to enhance application capabilities. * Leveraging proficiency in **Python and Unix shell scripting** to build robust and efficient backend solutions. Utilizing microservices architecture to develop scalable and sustainable applications. * Engaging with multiple teams to deliver solutions for complex problems and ensure effective team collaboration. * Staying current with **emerging technologies** and integrating them into development processes. * **Mentoring junior team members to foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.** **Required Skills and Qualifications:** * Specialized proficiency in **Python**: Extensive experience in Python programming for backend development. * Experience in **Unix Shell Scripting**: Ability to write and debug shell scripts for various tasks. * Experience in **Prompt Engineering**: Skill in prompt development and working with **LLMs.** * Experience in Microservices Architecture: Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures. * Intermediate knowledge of **Edge Computing**: Understanding of edge computing concepts and their application in backend development. * **Strong understanding of system integrations:** Experience integrating various systems and services via APIs. * Excellent problem-solving skills: Ability to tackle and resolve complex technical challenges. * **Experience with emerging technologies and innovative technological solutions.** Join our team and contribute to the development of innovative backend solutions that drive business success.
