Description

Job Summary: Multifunctional Operator (WWTP) responsible for operating, monitoring, and performing maintenance at wastewater treatment plants, including sludge removal. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and monitoring of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) 2. Preventive and corrective maintenance of WWTP equipment 3. Assistance in laboratory analyses and external services MULTIFUNCTIONAL OPERATOR (WWTP) Main Responsibilities: \-Load, unload, and transport materials using manual tools or auxiliary equipment; \-Operate pumps and chemical dosing equipment at WWTPs; \-Perform process quality control and monitoring for wastewater treatment through computerized systems; \-Receive chemical products and conduct periodic inventory checks; \-Assist in the operation of motor-pump sets and automotive equipment; \-Perform general auxiliary activities in physical-chemical and bacteriological laboratories for wastewater testing, supporting tests and analyses; \-Operate WWTPs, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and collect samples for laboratory analysis; \-Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks at wastewater pumping stations; \-Maintain work equipment in perfect operational and clean condition; \-Properly use personal and collective protective equipment; \-Clean grates, sand traps, tanks, and channels; \-Perform minor simple maintenance on equipment and infrastructure; \-Assist in external services such as vacuum truck operations, pipe unblocking, and support for sewer network maintenance. However, the primary activity will be sludge removal — essentially collecting the sludge generated by the plant, placing it into a handcart, and transporting it to the truck.
