And if adaptability, ethics, innovation, and problem-solving are part of your DNA, and communication is your key strength in pursuing continuous process improvement, join our team — we are the PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT / CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. **Responsibilities and Duties** See how you can contribute in this role: * Focus on technical process control activities; * Develop and review WIs (Work Instructions); * Update technical procedures and processes; * Daily KPI updates; * Data collection and processing related to processes; * Trend analysis; * Control, standardize, and stabilize internal production processes; * Analyze and resolve issues in the production process; * Maintain continuous process improvement (Kaizen), with primary focus on quality and productivity; * Provide technical guidance and training to production staff; * Act as a 5S facilitator at the factory; * Perform other duties related to the position, as required by the department or leadership direction. **Requirements and Qualifications** What you need to have and/or know for this position: * Completed technical education, or ongoing undergraduate studies in Quality, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Knowledge of quality tools; * Availability to work onsite during business hours in the Fazenda Rio Grande/PR region. **Additional Information** With over 400 years of history, the Sumitomo Group has left marks and legacies worldwide; 10 years ago, it entered Brazil to combine Japanese culture with Brazilian culture and further expand its business success.
