Opportunity to support improvements in import processes **Education:** * Bachelor's degree completed in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields. **Requirements:** * Intermediate English (reading and writing); * Excel (basic / intermediate); * Knowledge of import and international logistics processes (familiarity with the Single Import Declaration (DI Única) is a plus); * Behavioral Competencies: Logical and analytical thinking; organization and attention to detail; proactive problem-solving; strong interpersonal communication; negotiation skills and resilience. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Interface among procurement, importation, and engineering departments; * Conduct follow-up with suppliers / freight forwarders and carriers after purchase order issuance; * Ensure continuous updates of information in spreadsheets or ERP systems; * Archive documents as instructed by the importer; * Request and review documents such as bill of lading, commercial invoice, and packing list; arrange corrections when necessary; * Prepare and send shipping instructions to suppliers / agents / customs brokers / insurers / terminals; * Monitor shipment, cargo arrival, and customs clearance process; * Verify documents, NCM codes, Incoterms, and need for import licenses (LI); * Prepare customs clearance instructions and monitor the process with the customs broker until goods delivery; * Support initiatives and improvements in import processes, as required.
