Organization and control of pharmaceutical supplies \#OurWayRedefinesStories **About this opportunity:** PHARMACY COURIER Deliver and collect medications and medical-hospital supplies across departments to meet patients' needs and replenish departmental stock. Responsibilities and Duties Deliver medications and medical-hospital supplies to departments for patients; proceed to the central pharmacy to collect supplies and scan medications using a barcode reader called “palm” at the central pharmacy, scanning both the supply and medication packages and the destination unit’s identification to ensure accurate delivery and enable tracking of delivered items. Deliver medications and medical-hospital supplies to departments by collecting them at the central pharmacy and transporting them to the destination department using an appropriate vehicle designed for high-volume transport, thereby delivering orders already processed by the pharmacy and replenishing the requesting department’s stock. Collect excess supplies and medications from inpatient units by gathering them at the departments and returning them to the central pharmacy to prevent accumulation of medications in departments and to return supplies to the central pharmacy for restocking. Collect chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition prescriptions from departments by retrieving the documents at the units and delivering them to the central pharmacy to produce copies, ensuring compliance with health surveillance regulations. Deliver chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition prescriptions back to their departments of origin by collecting them at the central pharmacy and delivering them to the respective departments, returning the original document for attachment to the patient’s medical record. Deliver urgent supplies to departments by responding to mobile extension requests and immediately proceeding to the central pharmacy to collect urgent supplies, then delivering them to the requesting department to prioritize patients’ needs.
