Job Summary: Grupo Fácil is seeking a professional to work in a hybrid capacity on Oracle database administration and development, ensuring data performance, availability, and integrity. With a trajectory marked by stability and responsibility, we build our story while maintaining our purpose: delivering real value to our customers — always through dedicated people, collaboration, and results-oriented focus. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform hybrid administration and development tasks in Oracle environments, ensuring data performance, availability, and integrity; * Proactively monitor the environment, identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities; * Perform SQL and PL/SQL query tuning, as well as performance diagnostics and analysis (traces); * Validate and deploy DML and DDL scripts across different environments (development, staging, and production); * Support backup, recovery, and high-availability routines in collaboration with the infrastructure team; * Develop and maintain database objects (stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in PL/SQL); * Participate in ETL processes and data integration, ensuring information quality and consistency; * Collaborate with development teams on data modeling and best practices for database access; * Identify and optimize critical queries (indexes, query rewriting, hints); * Document database-related processes, standards, and best practices; * Participate in code reviews and capacity planning activities; * Act as a liaison between infrastructure and development teams. **Job Requirements** * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields; * Experience with Oracle Database (12c/19c+); * Experience with SQL and PL/SQL; * Experience validating and deploying DML and DDL scripts; * Experience with query tuning and performance diagnostics; * Hands-on experience building and maintaining stored procedures, functions, and packages; * Experience monitoring Oracle environments (OEM, AWR, ASH, alert logs); * Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, C# or similar); * Knowledge of ETL processes; * Familiarity with observability and tracing tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Oracle Trace) for system diagnostics. **Desirable Qualifications** * Oracle certification (OCA, OCP, or OCM) or equivalent. * Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). * Experience in cloud environments (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure SQL). * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps (CI/CD for databases). * AI applied to databases: Practical use of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.). * Technical English for reading documentation. **Additional Information** Beyond joining a collaborative and continuously evolving team, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, wellbeing, and professional development: * Medical and dental insurance; * Meal allowance via iFood Multibenefícios card; * Profit Sharing Program (PLR), based on the company’s annual goal achievement; * Partnership with Wellz, a platform focused on mental health and wellbeing; * Partnership with Wellhub, providing access to gyms and wellbeing activities; * Life insurance; * Partnerships and discounts with educational and language institutions; * Corporate University, offering professional development learning paths; * Access to Alura platform, subject to availability; * Pharmacy benefit plan (Belo Horizonte and metropolitan region); * Transportation allowance.
