MECHANIC - WORKHOLDING DEVICES

Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for maintaining the availability and reliability of workholding devices, ensuring high performance and efficient use of resources. Key Highlights: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of workholding devices. 2. Support in service order planning and inventory control. 3. Collaboration in an innovative and challenging environment. Workholding Maintenance in the Machining Department is responsible for keeping the Factory's assets available and reliable, as well as ensuring optimal performance through efficient resource utilization; this department’s focus is specifically on workholding devices. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform and supervise less complex maintenance activities, as well as assembly of hydraulic or mechanical components in workholding devices. * Assist in service order planning, spare parts and component management, and control replacement inventory; request material registration. * Receive and manage recoverable parts sent by or supplied from third parties. * Conduct inspections on workholding devices. * Support the team in load lifting activities for removal and installation of devices on equipment. * Perform preventive/corrective maintenance and assist the team in resolving more complex issues. * Carry out autonomous maintenance and 5S activities. * Perform maintenance-related tasks and cleaning at maintenance sites according to environmental regulations, and ensure proper upkeep of work equipment, maintaining baseline conditions. * Perform component recovery activities on workbenches. * Properly use PPE to ensure safety during operations/activities. * Maintain tools and instruments in good working condition. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical Education in Mechanics and Mechatronics. * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. * Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics. * Basic knowledge of materials and heat treatments. * Basic knowledge of tolerance and fit tables. * Basic knowledge of machine elements. * Basic knowledge of metrology. * Ability to manually sketch mechanical drawings. * Familiarity with SOLIDWORKS navigation (desirable). * Availability to work rotating shifts (6 days on / 2 days off) across all shifts. * Must reside in Joinville or nearby. **Additional Information** **We offer benefits to support your well-being and future:** Tupy Joinville Unit: \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ **Compensation and Incentives:** Variable Compensation (PRT) Attendance Bonus Tupy Multi-Benefits Card: Usable at establishments affiliated with the company. **Financial Planning and Well-being:** Private Pension Plan Group Life Insurance Medical Assistance Dental Assistance On-site Restaurant **Education and Development:** SESI/SENAI Partnership Leisure and Quality of Life Tupy Athletic Association – Sports and Leisure Incentive (Gym, Martial Arts, Sports Courts and Events; Restaurants and Snack Bars; Leisure Areas for Employees and Families; Authorized consumption using the benefit card (badge).
