**Job Description:**
**Model:** On-site (at unit)
**Location:** Palhoça/SC
**Purpose of the Role:**
Lead international purchasing and import strategies, ensuring efficient supply, negotiation profitability, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional integration.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement import strategies aimed at efficiency and profitability
Negotiate with international suppliers (price, delivery time, and quality)
Oversee all stages of the import process—from supplier selection to final delivery
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and quality standards
Manage relationships with international suppliers
Develop and maintain import procedures and policies
Guide and support the import team to promote operational efficiency
Monitor global market trends and regulatory changes
Manage team activities to meet deadlines
Participate in product development
Coordinate logistics and finance interactions, ensuring systemic data integrity
Track outstanding warranty claims and fund allocations
Monitor critical order dates (cargo readiness, shipment, and estimated arrival)
Track outstanding advance payments to suppliers
Review inventory turnover analysis by product group
Coordinate purchase planning with suppliers
Align purchase planning with company goals
Use Microsoft Excel for analysis, control, and presentations
**Mandatory Requirements:**
Solid experience in Foreign Trade (COMEX)
Proven experience of at least 2 years in the field
Intermediate or advanced English proficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong negotiation skills and results orientation
