As a Rack-and-Pinion Elevator Operator, you will be responsible for moving loads and personnel via rack-and-pinion elevator, performing the equipment’s daily checklist, organizing and cleaning the worksite, and ensuring proper equipment usage. **Responsibilities and Duties** **What awaits you daily:** * Operate cabin or mobile platform elevation controls to lift and lower materials and workers; * Inspect installation conditions and examine load-bearing cables and other components to ensure optimal, regular, and safe operation; * Arrange or direct proper arrangement of materials during loading; * Verify operational conditions at the start of activities, assessing belts, steel cables, bushings, tie-downs, tower components, pulleys, sheaves, and other parts in accordance with established safety standards and operational procedures; * Monitor equipment capacity and load weight to ensure operational safety; * Operate rack-and-pinion elevators to transport materials, equipment, tools, and construction site personnel via control panel; * Complete the equipment’s daily operation/maintenance checklist; * Request preventive maintenance. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we expect from you:** **Prerequisites:** Literate **Desirable:** Completed rack-and-pinion elevator operator training course (minimum 16 hours) **Desired Knowledge and Skills:** Professional commitment, teamwork, ethics and responsibility, strong communication skills, agility, and proactivity. **Additional Information** Here, you’ll find a collaborative environment filled with competent and committed professionals.
