As a **Carpenter**, you will perform carpentry tasks, including cutting, assembling, installing, and repairing wooden components using manual and mechanical tools. **Responsibilities and Duties** **What awaits you daily:** * Perform precise measurements to ensure wooden materials are cut and positioned correctly; * Cut and shape wood according to project specifications using saws, planers, handsaws, and other cutting tools, under supervision from the foreman or site manager; * Assemble wooden structures such as wall frames, beams, columns, roofs, and floor systems using appropriate carpentry techniques; * Secure beams, planks, and other wooden components using nails, screws, clamps, or adhesives, depending on project specifications; * Install doors, windows, and trim, ensuring proper fit and smooth operation; * Construct roof frameworks, install beams and trusses, and secure roofing materials such as tiles; * Ensure surfaces are level, smooth, and properly finished; * Handle manual and electric tools such as hammers, drills, and circular saws; * Ensure all activities are conducted safely, using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, safety goggles, and safety harnesses when required; * Collaborate closely with other construction professionals, such as masons and electricians, to ensure the project progresses according to plan; Coordinate and supervise the activities of a construction helper/assistant **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we expect from you:** **Prerequisites:** Literate. **Desirable:** Carpentry training course. **Preferred Experience in the Field:** 2 years **Desired Knowledge and Skills:** Professional commitment, teamwork, ethics and responsibility, familiarity with carpentry tools, ability to read and interpret construction blueprints. **Additional Information** Here, you will find a collaborative environment filled with competent and committed professionals.
