Job Summary: Assist in the execution and laying of optical cables, ensuring organization and safety at the worksite, with a focus on telecommunications. Key Highlights: 1. Assist in splicing and laying optical cables 2. Prepare the work site with signage and protective equipment 3. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety at the worksite RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in splicing active and inactive optical cables; * Assist in laying optical cables * Assist in removing obsolete wires and cables * Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety at the worksite * Prepare the work site for task execution (signage, protective equipment) * Assist—and, when necessary, open and close optical splice closures, prepare cables, fuse fibers, and install terminal boxes.
