Another key responsibility is conducting admission, periodic, and dismissal medical examinations, ensuring all employees are fit for their roles. The professional must maintain health and accident records, guaranteeing accurate and up-to-date documentation essential for audits and compliance with occupational safety regulations. The Occupational Nursing Technician must also collaborate with other professionals—such as occupational physicians, engineers, and occupational safety specialists—to develop initiatives aimed at continuously improving the work environment. It is essential that the professional stays updated on occupational health and safety legislation and regulations, participating in training and capacity-building activities.
