Job Summary: A professional responsible for fabricating, repairing, installing, and joining various parts and components made from metal sheets, applying safety standards and interpreting technical drawings. Key Highlights: 1. Manufacturing and repair of metal structures and various sheets 2. Use of various welding and metal alloy cutting processes 3. Interpretation of technical drawings and application of safety standards Fabricate, repair, and install various parts and components from metal sheets such as steel, galvanized iron, copper, tin, brass, aluminum, zinc, etc.; join and cut metal alloy parts using welding and cutting processes including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), tungsten inert gas (TIG), metal inert gas (MIG), metal active gas (MAG), oxy-fuel gas, and plasma. Manufacture or repair boilers, tanks, reservoirs, and other containers made from steel sheets; cut, shape, and process ferrous and non-ferrous profiled bars to produce windows, doors, grilles, stained glass, and similar components. Apply strict safety, workplace organization, and environmental standards. Interpret drawings, sketches, models, specifications, and other information for task planning, and select measuring and control instruments. Interpret production orders, drawings, and project plans. Perform other tasks compatible with the requirements of the position.
