Maintaining an organized and clean workplace **Position: Supermarket Cashier** ------------------------------- * **Location:** Pântano do Sul — Florianópolis/SC * + ️ **Schedule:** Shift 1 from 7:30 AM to 4:50 PM \| Shift 2 from 12:20 PM to 9:40 PM (2-hour break) \- Rotating 6x1 schedule * **Salary:** R$ 2\.255,00 ### **About the Position** We are looking for an organized, proactive, and customer-focused **Supermarket Cashier** to join our team and support daily store operations. The professional will be responsible for ensuring fast, accurate, and courteous cash transactions, delivering a positive customer experience. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Operate the cash register efficiently, verifying items and processing payments accurately; * Greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner; * Register purchases, apply current promotions, discounts, and offers; * Process payments in cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers, and other payment methods; * Maintain an organized and clean workstation; * Ensure cash register security and safeguard funds in transit; * Resolve or escalate customer inquiries and requests to the appropriate department. ### **Requirements** * Completed elementary education; * Prior experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred; * Good communication skills and ethical conduct; * Quick mathematical reasoning; * Ability to handle monetary transactions and various payment methods; * Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays, as per schedule). ### **Preferred Competencies** * Customer focus and interpersonal skills; * Organization and attention to detail; * Teamwork; * Responsibility and trustworthiness. ### **Benefits** * Transportation allowance * Product discount * Cash handling bonus: 15% (R$ 338,25\) Minimum Education Level: High School (Secondary Education) * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance
