Human resource management and maintenance programs **Description** We are seeking a **PPCM Technician** to perform planning, scheduling, and control of maintenance activities, ensuring equipment efficiency, adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, and reduction of production downtime. This professional will be responsible for integrating maintenance, production, and supplier areas, guaranteeing quality, productivity, and safety in the industrial environment. **Responsibilities and Duties** Plan, guide, and assign maintenance activities according to established guidelines, goals, and programs; Develop the preventive and predictive maintenance calendar and plans for the company's mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and refrigeration machinery and equipment, verifying the latest inspections, maintenance team’s service availability, and production’s machine release feasibility, recording all data in the system following standardized procedures—ensuring maintenance interferes as little as possible with the production process, while remaining within preventive maintenance limits; Oversee the implementation, execution, and monitoring of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs, as well as provide support and guidance for third-party services; Manage human resources within the department—including training, performance evaluation, and discipline of team members—and administer absences, vacations, and other procedures inherent to team structuring, maintenance, and motivation, consulting with the immediate supervisor on key decisions; Liaise with involved departments to negotiate preventive maintenance dates; Monitor routine maintenance checklists initiated or requested by production, archiving documents per established requirements; Register new machinery and equipment data into the system, updating, modifying, and standardizing preventive maintenance procedures for identical parts and devices; Create and print identification labels for machines and equipment, requesting their physical installation; Transfer information from the computerized system to spreadsheets or text editors to generate and issue reports and controls as needed or upon request; Maintain contact with suppliers to identify solutions for defects and explore new technologies for machinery aimed at improving quality and productivity in the manufacturing area, through internal meetings or specific technical visits; Contact third-party service providers when necessary to assist with electrical, mechanical, or similar maintenance tasks, minimizing machine downtime to restore production; Oversee the development, execution, and monitoring of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, as well as provide support and guidance for third-party services; Be accountable for service results and statistics, analyzing unproductive hours and overtime reports to quantify and validate cost-benefit ratios; Maintain and update industrial maintenance records, develop and analyze performance indicators for tracking results; Comply with occupational health and safety standards and procedures, properly use PPE, and carry out training and instructional operations to ensure personal and others’ safety; Perform other duties as required and at the discretion of the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed technical education in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or related fields. Prior experience as a PPCM Technician in an industrial setting; Familiarity with ERP systems; Protheus is preferred.
