Description
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Describe the tasks performed by the employee;
\- Negotiate, submit commercial proposals, and sell apartments to a mixed clientele in the hospitality sector
\- Confirm reservations;
\- Support the front desk with information regarding pricing, promotions, new procedures, etc.
\- Analyze room occupancy map availability;
\- Review and execute reservation contracts;
\- Prepare reports on client contacts and service interactions;
\- Monitor sales progress and conduct post-sale follow-up;
\- Attend to clients (in person or by phone), providing information and clarifying general questions regarding sales and event organization.
\- Verify and control space availability through event calendars;
\- Draft commercial proposals based on predefined standards and perform follow-up with clients to confirm events.
\- Support event organization by maintaining contact with vendors, monitoring administrative procedures, and verifying all required infrastructure (room setup, equipment, coffee-break schedules, lunches, dinners, etc.).
\- Provide full support/client service during events.
\- Conduct post-sale follow-up, assessing client satisfaction levels regarding services rendered.
\- Perform event check-in, billing entries, and check-out;
\- Prepare and monitor event budgets;
\- Issue service orders to all operational departments.
\- Implement area control processes and procedures using checklists;
\- Relay information between the contracting party and end client, and assist the client in arranging additional services;
\- Carry out other related duties as required by the department.
REQUIREMENTS
\- Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality and Tourism / Hotel Management or related fields;
\- Knowledge of negotiation techniques;
\- Sales experience in the hospitality industry;
\- Inbound marketing knowledge is a plus;
\- Familiarity with hotel management systems;
\- Intermediate Spanish and basic English proficiency;
\- Minimum 1 year of experience in this role or a similar position within the hospitality industry;
\- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency;
\- Availability to work on a rotating 6-days-on/1-day-off schedule.
