**Description** The Production Operator is responsible for regulating, operating, and inspecting machines and equipment in the production plant; performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance; operating from the control cabin to execute setups and adjustments on all equipment; ensuring process control in accordance with production order specifications and product characteristics; carrying out activities in compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and quality and safety requirements; performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities at NetZero; adhering to received training and strictly observing safety regulations; safeguarding the proper functioning, continuous improvement, and availability of resources; and contributing to production process efficiency and to the fulfillment of the maintenance and production plan. **Responsibilities and Duties** Participate in Daily Safety Dialogues (DDS), staying informed about incidents that have occurred and substandard conditions, with the objective of raising awareness regarding personal safety and that of third parties. Obtain information from the previous shift’s operators and/or immediate supervisor regarding service progress and production scheduling for the current shift, to properly begin the workday, and similarly relay this same type of information to inspectors of the next shift. Conduct pre-use inspections of machines, equipment, and tools to verify correct operation, documenting and reporting any irregularities identified to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action, thereby preventing accidents, losses, and work defects. Carry out activities in accordance with established Operational Standards (POs) and Technical Standards (PTs), proposing improvements and modifications aimed at continuously improving processes while complying with standards related to Quality, Safety, behavior, and environmental control, and using PPE, engineering controls (EPCs), and uniforms at the workplace. Operate machines and equipment according to established standards and the production schedule. Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance—preventive, predictive, corrective, emergency, or scheduled—on plant equipment in Lajinha, as trained and in accordance with applicable operational procedures. Interrupt the production process whenever necessary by triggering stop commands via the control panel, informing supervision of the reasons and implementing measures to restore normal production (e.g., equipment adjustment, maintenance, scrap removal), thereby ensuring product conformity. Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the workstation and ensure proper maintenance and preservation of equipment and tools under one’s responsibility. Participate in company-led management and quality programs (5S, GMC, TPM, Suggestion Program, and others), attend related training sessions, apply their principles, and contribute to improving the organizational climate as well as organizational processes, products, and services. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed High School education. Availability to work on a 12×36 shift schedule.
