




Job Summary: The Programmer Analyst at MAPFRE is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing technological solutions that optimize internal processes, requiring strong analytical capabilities and collaboration skills. Collaboration within the MAPFRE Project framework. **Description** --------------- The Programmer Analyst at **MAPFRE** will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing effective technological solutions that meet business needs and contribute to optimizing internal processes. This role requires solid analytical capability, advanced technical knowledge, and collaboration skills to work across various organizational areas. **Responsibilities** ------------- * Model software to be developed considering requirements (Business Model, Usability Model) * Design IT solutions related to changes in existing systems or new systems * Create test plans to verify that requirements and specifications are met (Test Model) * Participate in project estimation and planning processes * Advise clients on the implementation of business solutions * Model Business Processes * Support users to achieve their expected information and outcomes * Prepare necessary documentation for project execution * Maintain up-to-date, innovative, specific, and/or specialized knowledge of procedures, regulations, technical criteria, etc., within their scope of work through participation in training sessions and monitoring of key performance and quality indicators. * Analyze and evaluate business user needs and translate them into requirements, ensuring proper alignment with current technological solutions or development of new solutions that interact with existing ones, contributing to their implementation. * Advise business or IT users to help determine solution feasibility during the pre-project phase or improvements to existing solutions. * Evaluate factors required to address business demand and control its execution, proposing scheduling and prioritization criteria to the project or service manager. * Prepare functional specifications and system design for information systems to meet defined business needs by analyzing technical feasibility and system/technology integration per corporate standards. * Prepare specifications, design, and maintenance of data storage and access mechanisms to support enterprise solution information needs using detailed knowledge of database architectures, software, and infrastructure. * Perform planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of tests to ensure that new or modified systems, configurations, packages, or services—including any interfaces—are developed as specified, and that associated implementation risks are properly identified and documented. * Collaborate in developing the Project Framework following MAPFRE’s Methodology. **Experience** --------------- * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Programmer or Analyst. * Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, **Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services, Unix** * Experience across all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, development, testing, and implementation. * ASP.NET, MVC, and Web APIs * Data Modeling and Stored Procedure development * Preferably experienced in SQL Programming * Extensive experience developing web technologies such as Microsoft ASP.NET, JSP & Java * Strong communication skills in Spanish and English **Education** ------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science **Benefits** -------------- * Retirement and Savings Plan (401K) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of salary, * Life Insurance * Medical Plan, * 15 days of annual vacation, * Modern gym in the central building, cafeteria, medical clinic, * Professional Development Program * Employee Assistance Program, * Company insurance discounts, * Recognition Programs, * Health Fairs, * Employee activities and other optional benefits. * Hybrid work arrangement after successful completion of probationary period.
