If you identify with our purpose, shall we together imagine a future and engineer it? **Responsibilities and duties** **Summary description:** Carry out necessary actions for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, observing working conditions and detecting adverse situations through inspections and systematic application of legislation and corporate procedures, in order to preserve employees' health and physical integrity, as well as promoting awareness for preventive actions on relevant topics. **Detailed description:** * Monitor the company's compliance with occupational safety regulations, overseeing work areas/sites, assessing behaviors and risk factors, and guiding employees toward proper conduct. * Prepare, organize, and deliver training sessions, as well as lead DDS (Daily Safety Dialogues), Brigade Meetings, and others as needed. * Evaluate safety documentation from suppliers accessing company premises, ensuring their alignment with environmental operating conditions to prevent government penalties and ensure employee safety. * Follow up and investigate all workplace incidents/accidents, visiting the site, verifying conditions, analyzing the incident in a group setting, preparing reports, and recommending appropriate preventive and control measures. * Carry out activities related to compliance with safety regulations according to planning, supporting CIPA processes, simulation exercises, mandatory training, and others, as well as inspecting safety and firefighting equipment, ensuring they are in perfect condition and functioning properly. * Monitor assessments of physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, and ergonomic agents within facilities by visiting work areas, ensuring legal compliance and employee safety. * Execute activities outlined in the PGR (Risk Prevention Plan) and other specific area programs. * Support management in handling critical processes within the unit, assisting in developing training maps, risk management, operational procedures, and others, focusing on health and safety aspects. * Perform assigned tasks according to received plans, under the supervision and/or support of more technically experienced professionals or immediate supervisors, even if only for occasional guidance or problem resolution. Does not yet demonstrate full proficiency across all processes, operations, or equipment within their area, nor full productivity levels. * Assist more senior professionals in processes related to their field of work, leveraging their experience for self-development. * Participate in implementing departmental work plans and procedures, executing and monitoring necessary technical actions to achieve established objectives and goals. * Implement EHS guidelines to the construction team through management methodologies and tools. Ensuring field leadership participation through the following activities: * Inspect mobile equipment prior to use, ensuring compliance with EHS requirements; * Ensure contractors apply EHS tools; * Conduct safety inspections focusing on mobile equipment, safe behaviors, and PPE usage; * Lead DDS (Daily Safety Dialogues) and pre-task discussions analyzing potential risks; * Take preliminary actions to mitigate unsafe situations and behaviors; * Develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and safety procedures before starting activities; * Prepare weekly and monthly reports on activities performed at the construction site; * Monitor field activities daily; * Proactively work with contractors alongside project leadership to promote a safety culture aligned with best practices; * Pre-qualify companies according to industrial mining sector EHS standards; * Support the mobilization process of contracted employees **Requirements and qualifications** **Basic requirements:** * Completed Technical Education in Occupational Safety; * Knowledge and experience with EHS administrative processes; * Experience monitoring construction projects; * Knowledge of industrial EHS standards; * Familiarity with regulatory norms (NRs). **You stand out if you have:** * Additional certifications in occupational safety; * Experience in Risk Management; * Intermediate English proficiency. **Additional information** **Job characteristics:** * Employment type: Regular Office (On-site); * Work location: Poços de Caldas/MG * Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00 **Benefits included in the position:** * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Transportation * Meal allowance * Gympass partnership * Discounts and partnerships with various educational institutions * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas—and even more, in the ability to turn them into reality.
