From purchasing to quality control and traffic, in each and every field we have highly trained colleagues that do their very best every day to guarantee the high standard of client satisfaction that we are so proud of. **We are certified as a Great Place to Work®, highlighting our strong culture of trust, collaboration, and respect.** **Discover here** **what our employees like best about our workplace.** **Warehouse Assistant \- (m/f/d)** **Varginha/MG Unit** In this position, you will report directly to the Warehouse Leader. **Responsibilities:** * Daily execution of general simple tasks supporting warehouse operations, such as floor cleaning, cleaning of metal structures, "bags", silos, and pipes, etc., aiming to maintain area cleanliness. * Assist in discharging grains into hoppers by opening valves of "bags" positioned above the storage area by the Forklift Operator, ensuring prompt and correct replenishment. * Participate in container loading for bulk shipment by positioning a lining ("liner") throughout the container interior to protect cargo or meet contractual transportation requirements. Assist in container sealing and locking for vehicle release. * Distribute coffee evenly inside "bags" to ensure uniform filling for optimal stacking, and assist in lifting "bags" distributed across truck beds to expedite unloading. * Maintain "bags" for reuse: remove residual grains and clean interiors, inspect condition for tears or damage, and forward damaged bags for sewing or disposal. Fold, tie, palletize, or compress bags and sacks to optimize storage space. * Occasionally assist in marking sacks for product identification, batch number, etc., to meet export demands and customer requirements. * Occasionally operate equipment such as forklifts in the packaging area to perform tasks and organize the area, e.g., moving "big-bag" carts, pallets with various available packaging types, etc. * Clean warehouse metal structures according to a predefined schedule using an Aerial Work Platform (AWP); * Maintain order and cleanliness of the workplace, equipment, and tools using various materials such as brooms and squeegees, vacuum cleaners, compressed air, and — if qualified — operate a Sweeper Machine for more effective cleaning, ensuring organization and proper maintenance, requesting repairs when necessary.
