The analyst will be responsible for negotiating and controlling costs, safeguarding the budget, and ensuring seamless coordination among requesters, warehouse, finance, and controller departments. **RESPONSIBILITIES (ACTIVITIES)** * Receive and validate purchase requests via Cotabox (checking item, quantity, cost center, and urgency). * Ensure SLA compliance for response times and request progress, leaving nothing pending. * Conduct full quotations (three quotations always required where applicable). * Negotiate price, delivery timelines, and terms with suppliers — cost reduction is mandatory. * Analyze budget adherence before proceeding with purchase orders (full integration with Controller Department). * Convert purchase requests into purchase orders in accordance with established rules. * Perform follow-up until final delivery (confirm delivery schedule, invoice, and receipt). * Maintain an organized, updated, and qualified supplier database. * Work with basic departmental KPIs: + % cost reduction versus lowest quotation/historical price + Service Level Agreement (SLA) for request handling + Supplier service level + Purchase order accuracy rate * Identify and propose process improvements — individuals who identify problems but fail to propose solutions are unsuitable. * Direct interface with Finance for payments and reconciliations. * Direct interface with Warehouse for goods receipt, discrepancy resolution, and supplier registration. * Prevent item duplication with Warehouse (review prior to requesting new registrations). * Support reviews of simple contracts (within company’s recurring routines). **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** + Solid purchasing experience (minimum 2–3 years at mid-level) + Proficiency in purchasing processes: quotation, negotiation, supplier registration, purchase ordering, and follow-up. + Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables). + Experience with **procurement platforms** (Cotabox/OMIE is a plus) + Experience with **budgeting** and cost centers. + Ability to work under pressure, handle high volumes, and meet targets. + Profile: proactive, analytical, communicative.
