Job Description: **Job Mission** Act as a business partner supporting production areas on all matters related to sanitation and pest control, developing procedures, training operations to perform cleaning and recordkeeping, and continuously suggesting and implementing process optimizations. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor cleaning activities to review and develop Standard Operational Hygiene Procedures (SOHPs) and cleaning records * Train operations across all shifts on SOHPs and cleaning checklists * Ensure timely updates to the master sanitation plan and align with operations to ensure adherence to scheduled frequencies * Conduct validations and verifications of cleaning on production lines * Perform weekly audits of cleaning records and generate the cleaning checklist KPI for production areas using collected data * Manage procurement and documentation of cleaning tools, vacuum cleaners, and VAPs * Promote food safety culture within production areas * Lead the aerial cleaning program, support scheduling definition, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor cleaning execution, and issue work permits * Lead pest control and environmental monitoring programs and support vendor management * Generate and analyze departmental KPIs * Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for the department and follow up on action plans * Participate in plant projects involving sanitation and pest control **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields * Prior experience in this role * Proficiency in quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies * Experience in the food industry * Knowledge of SAP * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Intermediate English proficiency (advanced level is a plus) * Familiarity with FSSC 22000 certification (a plus) * Knowledge of hygiene practices Company Description: General Mills is a global leader in the food industry, working to make the foods the world loves!
