From infinitely recyclable aluminum cans and cups to aerosol bottles, our goal is to contribute to better communities, societies, and a better world.** ========================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================== **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct routine inspections to diagnose the condition and operational status of mechanical equipment; * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on all equipment and associated accessories, ensuring their proper operation; * Assist in assembling mechanical components, machine parts, or equipment using machine tools; * Perform lubrication, adjustments, and calibrations on all mechanical and pneumatic equipment according to each machine’s specifications; * Monitor production tests following mechanical repairs and implement corrective and preventive actions, verifying proper machine functionality; * Document repairs performed and parts replaced for tracking and implementation of corrective and preventive actions; * Maintain equipment and parts records for future replacements; * Perform minor welding and oxy-fuel cutting services as needed; * Replace oil, air filters, separators, and clean machines; * Comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations to prevent workplace and environmental accidents and incidents; * Perform oxy-cutting operations for minor repairs; * Perform simple drilling and machining operations on mechanical parts or assemblies; * Responsible for cleaning and organizing the work area; * Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics; * Knowledge of and ability to interpret mechanical drawings. **What We’re Looking For:** **Required** * Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field; * Experience in industrial operations and maintenance; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **Additional Information:** * **Work Location:** Extrema/MG * **Work Mode:** On-site * **Shift Schedule:** 4x4 (work 4 days, rest 4 days) * **Working Hours:** 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with shift rotation every 6 months **Ball Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
