Become part of our team as a **Senior Project Engineer**! **Key Responsibilities:** **Mechanical Engineering and Project Development** * Prepare, review, and issue mechanical engineering documents, such as equipment lists, physical layouts, drawings, data sheets, quantity takeoff spreadsheets, specifications, and calculations. * Develop conceptual and basic mechanical engineering designs for mineral processing and treatment plants and their auxiliary operations (e.g., pumping systems, effluent and oil treatment plants). * Perform mechanical sizing of equipment and systems, including piping, structural frames, lifelines, and small-scale pumping systems. * Prepare and review calculation reports, technical specifications, data sheets, and material lists. **Technical Evaluation, Analyses, and Field Studies** * Conduct mechanical evaluations and alternative layout studies for new structures and/or equipment in existing plants. * Carry out field surveys to assess the condition of idle structures, supporting CAPEX estimates. * Perform technical analyses and issue technical opinions considering feasibility, safety, and operational performance. **Technical Management and Interdisciplinary Coordination** * Provide multidisciplinary technical leadership for projects, ensuring integration across engineering disciplines. * Provide technical guidance to in-house and third-party design teams. * Participate in and follow up on project technical meetings, addressing interdisciplinary interfaces, technical solution definitions, and technical action items. * Collaborate closely with process, civil, structural, electrical, automation, and safety disciplines. **Technical Control, Quality, and Compliance** * Prepare and maintain project control checklists and technical reports. * Ensure projects comply with applicable technical standards (e.g., ABNT, ASME, ASTM, ISO, NR\-12). * Ensure adherence to internal engineering standards, sound engineering practices, and contractual requirements. * Serve as the Technical Responsible Professional before CREA for industrial projects managed by the Technical Services Management, including preparation and management of ARTs (Anotação de Responsabilidade Técnica). **Technical Knowledge and Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. * A postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, or a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, is considered an advantage. * Experience in the mining-metallurgical industry, particularly in industrial plants. * Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite. * Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar). * Knowledge of structural mechanical calculations applied to industrial equipment. * Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams (PFDs and P&IDs). * Familiarity with national and international technical standards applicable to mechanical engineering projects. * Active CREA registration, with demonstrated ability to prepare ARTs. **Competencies** * Analytical thinking and attention to detail; * Organization, deadline discipline, and sense of priority; * Proactivity, autonomy, and ownership mindset; * Collaboration and strong interpersonal skills with partner departments. **Location** Belo Horizonte/MG
