Our commitment is to ensure fair processes and an inclusive environment where talent and initiative are the true criteria for growth. **Position:** EHS Manager **Location:** Pouso Alegre, MG **Work Model:** 100% on-site **Reports to:** Senior Plant Manager and Senior H\&S LATAM Manager As **EHS Manager**, you will be responsible for coordinating, deploying, and implementing the EHS strategy in Brazil for a manufacturing plant with 600 employees and a distribution warehouse with 70 employees. You will jointly build, with the Plant Manager, a robust EHS culture—ensuring zero injuries and illnesses, zero negative environmental impacts, and full compliance with company and national regulations, aligned with global industrial standards and ensuring business continuity and risk prevention. **Responsibilities** * Develop EHS strategies: Create and implement plans to improve Safety, Health, and Environmental performance across facilities, aligning with corporate guidelines and local regulations. * Training and capacity building: Promote development of local resources (technicians and engineers), establishing an integrated network and effective training programs. * Compliance management: Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory standards (NRs, IBAMA, ANVISA, etc.) and lead responses to audits and external agencies. * Risk management: Coordinate implementation of tools such as risk assessments, audits, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and risk mapping to ensure safe and sustainable operations. * Project and contract administration: Participate in procurement processes, contract management, and budgeting, ensuring efficient financial execution aligned with compliance guidelines. * Innovation and change: Lead change management related to projects and operations, ensuring safety, sustainability, and strategic alignment. **Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, with postgraduate studies in Occupational Safety Engineering. * Advanced English proficiency * Solid experience as an EHS manager in manufacturing environments, with exposure to continuous improvement and implementation of environmental, health, and safety management systems. * Knowledge of Brazilian legislation, with understanding of OSHA/EPA regulations. * Advanced Spanish proficiency preferred Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well\-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
