Job Summary: We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Import Assistant to support import and export processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on strengthening presence in the international market We are looking for an Import Assistant to join our team. Key responsibilities include: \- Initiating processes in the I\-broker system and requesting foreign exchange.\- Registering Import Licenses (LI) and Import Licenses for Controlled Products (LPCO) for beverages and food items.\- Tracking cargo arrival and removal, as well as printing required documents for customs clearance.\- Organizing virtual and physical folders for loading and invoicing.\- Monitoring configuration, customs clearance, and approval of Import Licenses.\- Checking Siscomex Cargo release status and MAPA release, including registration of applications when necessary.\- Verifying ICMS release, submitting the Bill of Lading (BL) for release, and completing BL release forms.\- Requesting payment of AFRMM (Additional Freight Charge for Merchant Marine Renewal) and handling ICMS.\- Preparing and sending foreign exchange requests to clients, and forwarding instructions for entering and registering the Import Declaration (DI) and its release at customs facilities for loading.
