Dental plan and life insurance Job Description: * Operate forklifts to store, transport, or retrieve goods; * Promptly respond to work orders; * Visually inspect loading and unloading operations; * Verify contents, weight, and volume of loads; * Select appropriate material handling equipment based on load type; * Plan storage materials (strapping, pallets, padding); * Schedule sequence of material handling operations; * Use forklift accessories according to load type; * Load cargo per scheduling and equipment capacity; * Restock goods according to warehouse organization and/or picking requirements; * Monitor equipment operating conditions during operation; * Control equipment speed and direction of operation; * Unload and store scheduled items; maintain a sanitized environment; * Verify product expiration dates; * Inspect cargo storage areas; * Define designated zones for cargo movement; * Identify moved cargo; * Interpret packaging symbols; * Store cargo according to product expiration dates; * Identify cargo characteristics for transportation and storage; * Consult manufacturers’ instructions for equipment use and maintenance; * Inspect basic operational components of material handling equipment; * Test equipment functionality; * Identify malfunctions and damages; * Self-assess psycho-physical condition prior to commencing work; * Identify unsafe situations.
