**Job Mission**
Integrate engineering, cost analysis, and commercial strategy to ensure accurate budgets and technically viable, competitive solutions; support decision-making, improve margins, and ensure alignment among product, process, and business—through cross-functional engagement focused on efficiency and standardization.
**Key Responsibilities**
Integrate knowledge of product and materials engineering into solution development;
Validate technical feasibility with Production, Procurement, and Quality departments;
Support product development and customization from both technical and economic perspectives;
Ensure alignment between technical specifications and commercial strategy;
Serve as the technical reference for pricing for the Commercial and Controlling departments;
Support negotiations based on technical and financial data;
Contribute to defining campaigns, discounts, and commercial terms;
Prepare detailed technical budgets for products and medium- to high-complexity projects;
Calculate direct and indirect costs based on technical specifications and production processes;
Define technical assumptions regarding material consumption, time requirements, and processes;
Assess technical and economic impacts of project changes (e.g., customizations, addenda);
Ensure consistency between product engineering and cost composition;
Support new product development from both technical and economic perspectives;
Validate technical feasibility of proposed solutions jointly with Product Engineering;
Contribute to structural definitions and technical specifications during development;
Support industrialization processes, ensuring alignment between design and cost;
Consider raw material characteristics and production processes when preparing budgets;
Collaborate with Materials Engineering to define appropriate inputs;
Validate technical alternatives impacting cost and performance;
Ensure alignment between technical specifications and production capacity;
Define and monitor departmental performance indicators;
Analyze deviations and identify root causes;
Propose and track action plans to improve performance;
Report results and trends to leadership to support decision-making;
Disseminate technical knowledge regarding budgeting, costing, and engineering across involved teams;
Support capability building for departments such as Commercial, Engineering, and new hires;
Develop technical materials and standards (guidelines, templates, best practices);
Act as an internal technical reference and mentor;
Perform other duties related to the area as aligned with management.
**Requirements**
Desirable: 7 years of experience in Engineering, Product Development (PD), Processes, Quality, or related fields;
Completed undergraduate degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines;
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Innovation, or technical fields is a plus;
Green Belt/Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma certification is a plus;
Advanced knowledge of process and quality analysis tools (FMEA, SPC, DOE) is a plus.
