Job Summary: Forklift Operator responsible for handling, storing, and dispatching materials while ensuring integrity and safety in all operations. Key Highlights: 1. Support production in internal material handling, loading/unloading, transportation of materials (bulk, liquid, solid, transformers, gas cylinder replacement, etc.), performing maneuvers with the forklift (loaded or unloaded), ensuring the integrity of facilities, equipment, products, and personnel, as well as physically returning materials to stock (tanks, transformers, etc.). **The Opportunity:** Operate forklifts to transport, store, locate, and dispatch all types of materials/parts, components, assemblies, sub-assemblies, or transformers, among other daily requirements of the warehouse and production areas, adhering to rules and procedures for operating this type of vehicle, following instructions, and acting in compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Integrity policies and standards. **How You Will Make an Impact:** * Operate forklifts competently and safely to meet warehouse, production area, and department demands, supporting unit operations in accordance with predefined standards and procedures for such equipment and based on completed training (occupational safety, environmental protection, refueling, chemical handling, etc.). * Dispatch and handle all types of materials and parts (and/or transformers) according to demand, by loading trailers using forklifts (high-capacity) or overhead cranes. * Operate material-handling equipment, refuel them, and inspect their general condition and maintenance status—including fuel levels, brakes, hydraulic systems, etc.—in line with manufacturers’ recommendations and equipment models, preserving service life and following established procedures and regulations, immediately reporting potential failures or intervention needs to the Supervisor to ensure operational safety. * Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines. **Requirements:** * Completed High School Education * Knowledge of NR 11 and NR 35 * Valid and up-to-date forklift operator certification * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B) **Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
