You will be responsible for operating production processes through handling equipment in the factory's production areas, following safety, quality, and environmental standards, and meeting established requirements. Perform minor maintenance tasks and transport pallets using forklifts. **Responsibilities and duties** * Produce gases in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards while minimizing costs; * Fill cylinders, organize inventories of full and empty cylinders, handle and verify loads/materials, and properly record all data in reports, always adhering to quality, safety, and environmental standards; * Receive and control equipment, products, and cylinders sent by other branches, customers, or suppliers; * Print, verify, control, receive, and send invoices; * Inspect customer safety items and their trucks, including gross weight; * Fulfill orders and requests scheduled by Distribution, Billing, and other involved departments, as well as customer requests at the branch, meeting deadlines and quantities to fully satisfy our internal and external customers' needs; * Participate in factory and cylinder maintenance and preservation; * Keep the workplace always clean and organized; * Maintain analytical equipment calibrated and perform product analyses at the branch to meet existing quality plans; * Perform classification, inspection, testing, and maintenance on cylinders; * Complete and manage Production, cylinder maintenance, and factory maintenance reports; * Record and manage movements (related to Production and Maintenance) in systems used by Messer, such as SAP and Inlabel; * Ensure accuracy of cylinder, product, raw material, and maintenance/production item inventories; * Ensure no pending tasks exist in company systems related to production activities, such as cylinder filling; * Comply with HSEQ policy commitments and corporate and process objectives; * Follow established procedures and operational controls to mitigate environmental impacts, quality deviations, and occupational health and safety risks; * Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to the Integrated Management System **Requirements and qualifications** * High school diploma — mandatory; * Experience as a production leader — desirable; * Experience in filling air gas cylinders will be an advantage; * Technical degree in Chemistry or Electromechanics will be an advantage; * Forklift operator training — desirable; Messer Gases is the world's largest privately held company in the gas industry!
