




Job Summary: Drives school vehicles, ensures passenger safety, adheres to schedules, and guarantees the safety and well-being of children and adolescents during school transportation. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and preservation Drives school vehicles, ensures passenger care, adheres to scheduled routes, and performs vehicle cleaning and maintenance. Transports students from boarding on the school vehicle until alighting at the destination school, as well as transports students from boarding at the end of the school day until alighting at their homes or at pre-arranged designated locations, in the presence of an authorized person; The school transportation driver is responsible for operating the vehicle in a manner that ensures the physical and moral integrity of children and adolescents during their commute to and from school; Recommends to school transportation monitors the need to inform students about safety rules and procedures inside the vehicle; Verifies that all students are properly seated inside the school vehicle before starting the engine; Instructs monitors regarding the necessity for students to wear seat belts; Instructs monitors regarding the risk of accidents caused by placing body parts outside the window (if applicable); Ensures vehicle cleanliness during and after transportation; Strictly follows routes provided by the Transportation Center; Assists monitors in operating ramps and/or, if necessary, elevating platforms used for safe boarding and alighting, ensuring student dignity; Verifies student safety during boarding and alighting; Adheres to travel schedules provided by the Transportation Center and coordinated with parents, students, and school units; Confirms with the monitor whether all students scheduled for that day have returned home; Treats students courteously and respectfully; Is punctual and assiduous, maintains ethical conduct, practices personal hygiene, and wears comfortable, appropriate attire to best meet students' needs; Performs other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, including completing worksheets, logbooks, attendance records, among others.
