Main Responsibilities: Project Development Support Assist in developing steel structure projects (preliminary sizing, detailing, and modeling) Support the creation of technical drawings using CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, Advance Steel, etc.) Collaborate in verifying compliance with technical standards (NBR, ABNT, Eurocode, AISC, etc.) Structural Calculations (Monitoring and Support) Support the team in performing basic structural analyses (under supervision) Participate in reviewing calculation reports Use tools such as Excel, TQS, Ftool, SAP2000, etc., for simple analyses Project Coordination and Integration Assist in reviewing projects jointly with other disciplines (architecture, installations, foundations) Support identifying interferences and proposing solutions together with the team Production and Erection Monitoring Support site visits to factories and construction sites to monitor fabrication and erection of structures Prepare technical monitoring reports Support verification of checklists and quality standards Support organizing project documentation and technical records Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and technical presentations Planning and Budgeting Support Support quotation of materials and services related to steel structures Desired Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; Fundamentals of mechanics of materials and structural design; Proficiency in engineering software: AutoCAD, Advanced Excel, Ftool, Revit, Tekla Structures, SAP2000, etc.; Familiarity with technical standards (e.g., NBR 8800, NBR 16239).
