Inatel is recruiting a Specialist to work on the development of innovative solutions for 5G and 6G mobile network applications. **Responsibilities and duties** * Design, manufacture, and assemble circuits, embedded devices, and electromechanical systems—including motors, diodes, and microcontrollers—for 5G and 6G mobile communication applications; * Develop, implement, and optimize intelligent and reconfigurable systems, focusing on metasurfaces, radiofrequency, and wireless power transmission, aiming to enhance coverage and signal quality in wireless networks; * Conduct research and development activities related to prototyping, characterization, and performance analysis of devices for 5G and 6G mobile communications; * Research and apply new technologies for reconfigurable wireless communications, understanding their operating principles and current wireless network requirements; * Draft technical specifications and support procurement of components used in manufacturing and characterization of mobile communication devices; * Participate in collaborative research projects with universities and innovation centers, including scientific article publication and contributions to patent filings. **Requirements and qualifications** Bachelor’s degree completed in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related fields; Experience in embedded systems development; Knowledge of: * Microcontroller programming, * Installation and control of circuits and various types of diodes, * Motor control using Arduino, ESP, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms, * Computer vision (Intermediate-level knowledge and practice), * FPGA or similar programming. **It would be advantageous if you are:** Pursuing a master’s degree in Telecommunications or related fields **Additional information** **Working hours:** Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM\. **Work location:** Inatel Campus, located in Santa Rita do Sapucaí \- MG.
