We create spaces for authenticity. **About the Role:** **FINANCIAL MANAGER (CONTROLLER)** ***MISSION:*** Manage the Group MDC’s accounting, tax, finance, and controller functions, ensuring the quality of economic\-financial information, monitoring performance results, and supporting senior leadership’s decision-making. ***KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*** * Lead budgeting, *forecasting*, and financial planning and analysis (FP\&A) processes; * Act as a strategic partner to executive management by providing financial analysis to support decision-making; * Supervise accounting and monthly closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards; * Sign the group companies’ financial and accounting statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, LALUR, etc.); * Manage tax and fiscal obligations, ensuring legal compliance and identifying opportunities for tax efficiency (tax planning); * Supervise cash flow management and control across Group MDC companies; * Support external audit activities, as well as interactions with consulting firms and regulatory bodies; * Lead operational efficiency initiatives, cost control, and profitability analysis per business unit/project; * Supervise managerial closing processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods; * Support ERP (Protheus) implementation; and * Lead, train, and develop the team, promoting sound management practices and continuous improvement. ***REQUIREMENTS:*** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting Sciences, Economics, or related fields; * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Controller Functions, or Business Management is a plus; * Experience in a managerial role within Controller or Finance functions, preferably in medium- or large-complexity environments; * Strong knowledge of managerial and financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial statements, and performance indicators; * Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Protheus, Oracle, or similar); * Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools; * Intermediate or advanced English (a plus). ***SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:*** * Analytical ability, strategic and systemic business vision; * Results orientation and commitment to continuous improvement; * Leadership and team management; * Clear and concise communication, including with senior leadership; * Organization, prioritization, and attention to detail; * Ability to collaborate effectively and influence decisions; * Proactivity, integrity, and strong sense of responsibility.
