So, does this sound like you? **Responsibilities and duties** * Diagnose and resolve problems related to failures in production processes; * Analyze process performance data and identify potential improvements to enhance the reliability of battery production systems; * Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid failures and ensure continuity of the production process; * Ensure all processes comply with applicable quality and safety standards, such as ISO and specific automotive industry regulations; * Develop procedures to ensure safety in manufacturing and handling of components; * Participate in quality audits and inspections, ensuring all processes remain within established technical parameters; * Supervise the implementation of battery production processes, ensuring compliance with established standards; * Monitor system assembly on production lines, ensuring processes are carried out as planned; * Monitor process efficiency, proposing adjustments and improvements to maximize productivity and reduce waste; * Develop and improve battery manufacturing processes; * Define technical specifications for production processes, ensuring battery efficiency and quality; * Evaluate and select the most suitable equipment and tools for the battery manufacturing process; * Stay updated on technological innovations in automation and production systems, proposing the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance production processes; * Apply continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to optimize the efficiency and quality of battery production processes. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Production Engineering; * Intermediate to advanced English; * CAD tools (2D and 3D); * Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology (Green / Black Belt); * Previous experience in process engineering or manufacturing in OEM or Tier1 companies, with experience in: o Process flowcharts; o PFMEA; o Process sheets; o Work instructions; o Process parameter control; o Failure analysis (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.) * Familiarity with APQP and PPAP; * Analytical thinking; * Technical communication skills; * Proactivity; Desirable: Experience with electrical testing on batteries; Experience in adhesive processes; Experience in lithium battery processes. **Additional information** At BYD, we prioritize our employees' well-being and continuously seek improvements to our benefits package.
