So, does this sound like you? **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop and validate mechanical components of vehicles and industrial equipment; * Monitor tests, prototypes, and structural analyses; * Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies; * Propose improvements in processes, devices, and tooling; * Provide support to production in solving mechanical problems; * Participate in failure analysis and definition of corrective actions; * Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation; * Contribute to projects aimed at cost reduction and increased reliability; support quality, process, and maintenance teams with technical analysis. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering with active CREA registration. * Knowledge of mechanical industrial processes: machining, welding, assembly, stamping. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, and failure analysis tools. * Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia or equivalent). * Previous experience in the automotive industry. * Availability to work on-site in Camaçari/BA. **Additional information** At BYD, we prioritize the well-being of our employees and continuously seek improvements to our benefits package.
