Guardian of technical quality and knowledge disseminator A technology company specializing in developing management systems for the healthcare sector seeks a Java Specialist Developer \| JVM in Recife (Imbiribeira). **Responsibilities:** Analyze and develop solutions for the most demanding technical challenges across our ecosystem—from production performance bottlenecks to the design of new complex components. Actively collaborate on evolving our backend architecture by designing robust, scalable, and easily maintainable solutions, always aligned with industry best practices. Serve as the focal point for performance optimization, performing tuning of Java (JVM) applications, improving database query efficiency (Oracle and PostgreSQL), and ensuring low latency for our RESTful APIs. Act as a guardian of technical quality—writing exemplary code, conducting the most critical code reviews, and disseminating knowledge about automated testing, design patterns, and clean code practices. Support the technical development of other team members through leading by example, pair programming sessions, and sharing knowledge on advanced technologies and concepts. Research, prototype, and evaluate the adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and tools that can deliver strategic benefits to our products and development processes. Bachelor's degree required.
